I like to doodle with a Sharpie as a warmup and to see what happy accidents I will stumble on. Keeping it loose, I try to find the magic by drawing shapes, lines and curves to see what emerges from the blank space. The sketch below is one example. Out of this messy beginning there's a great image waiting to get out.
